How do I choose between 10” and 12” strops?

There is no quality difference between the leather, or base options, between our 10 inch and 12 inch strops. Many people simply like the extra real estate of a 12 inch strop. If the majority of your knives are pocket knives, EDCs, or kitchen knives under 240mm / 9.5 inches, the 10 inch strops will work perfectly fine. If you own knives longer than 240mm / 9.5 inches, whether chef’s knives, slicers, or larger hunting knives, etc., the 12 x 3 inch surface will make stropping those larges knives much more pleasurable.
